Job Description

Beaumont People are proud to be partnering with a not-for-profit organisation who provide a range of specialised care services for youth with complex needs and for people with disabilities. Their programs include supervised residential care provided under a therapeutic framework for young people who have complex needs and cannot live with their family.

The Role

As the Finance Officer, you will provide support to the finance team by performing a range of tasks including the following:
  • Monthly invoicing, debt collection and creditor processing
  • Corporate credit card allocations and reconciliations
  • Financial support and advice to the professional staff
  • Implementation of best-practice initiatives for administrative processes and procedures  
  • Processing purchase orders
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with payroll when required
About You

To be successful for this role you will possess the following:
  • Previous experience within a finance/accounting-based role
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and independently
  • Experience in financial compliance
  • Ability to be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to adhere to workplace policies and deadlines
  • Experience in the use of accounting systems (ideally Sage Micropay)
This is a temporary position offering full time hours commencing as soon as this week.
