Job Description

Executive Officer
  • 12 month Contract
  • Working for a reputable Education provider based in the Northern Suburbs and Hills District
  • Salary of $100,000 – 120,000 + super
ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of the Executive Officer is to provide high quality support to the Director whilst also managing a team of three administrators 

Duties and Responsibilities;
  • Provide high level and practical support to the Director whilst ensuring confidentially at all times
  • Provide Executive support at Director's meetings including but not limited to; minutes, action points, organisation of meetings
  • Ensure that all policies, procedures and guidelines are maintained and followed at all times
  • Oversee leases, licences and other legal documentation and signatures on behalf of the provider, whilst advising on contractual and legal issues to higher parties
  • Be the first point of contact for wide crisis/critical incident management and coordination resources to ensure advice and support is provided
  • Assist with overseeing risk management at the organisational level, and provide support for the roll out of new strategic initiatives
  • Oversee diary management and travel arrangements for the Director 
ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate is someone who has worked in a similar position, ideally within the NSW Education system.

Skills and Abilities;
  • Must have experience in C Suite support in NFP, Government or Education Sector
  • Excellent attention to detail, exemplary communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proven experience of exercising confidentiality and discretion
  • A broad legal background with understanding of governance, risk management and compliance would be highly regarded
  • Ability to prioritise and make sound judgment whilst working with those on different levels to build and support positive relationships
  • Desirable if experienced in policy planning, preparation of reports and managing critical incidents
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, critical thinker, highly organised
