Working closely with the Executive and the Board, you will line manage one person and be responsible for maintaining and developing ongoing Fundraising across the organisation. With strategic responsibility to grow revenue you will grow existing income from Philanthropists, Trusts and Foundations and Government whilst driving new income streams such as Corporate Giving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a new Fundraising strategy
- Manage both income and expenditure Fundraising budgets all Fundraising reporting
- Report and present Fundraising updates to the Board
- Work closely with the Executive Director to build on existing relationships with Major Donors whilst looking at ways to cultivate new supporters
- Develop the current grants calendar across Government, Trusts and Foundations and Corporates
- Oversee the compliance process across the Fundraising portfolio and the acquittals process
- Identify new funding opportunities across various wider income streams such as Peer to peer, Corporate partnerships, Regular giving and Mid value giving
- Continuous development of Fundraising propositions and communications to attract and retain support
- CRM and record-keeping management
- Line management of a fabulous Grants Manager
- A passion for writing and improving the lives of marginalised young people
- Strategy development experience and ability to report in to a board
- Demonstrated experience in Fundraising with a proven background across Philanthropy including Trusts and Foundations
- Understanding of the Philanthropic landscape and the ability to grow relationships with individuals and foundations
- Proven ability to create opportunities in new funding areas such as Corporate partnerships
- Outstanding organizational skills to manage stewardship across a large portfolio of donors and partners
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
- Demonstrable experience of hitting Fundraising targets and managing budgets
- Innovate and creative with the passion and desire to grow a broad Fundraising program
