The Opportunity:

We are currently looking for some exceptional sales candidates who have previous experience as Course or Career Advisor in higher education. The main duties of this role are providing a high standard of customer service to prospective students, and further converting these warm leads into sales. We have recently had a lot of interest for passionate sales superstars who enjoy communicating over the phone to a range of stakeholders.

General Duties of a Course Advisor:
  • Convert warm leads from prospective students into enrolments through several forms of leads include inbound calls, website applications and live chat
  • Contribute to outbound call campaigns to create new leads for the company
  • Be the first point of contact for new and previous prospective students looking to study at the organisation
  • Build and promote long-lasting relationships with students and also larger stakeholders
  • Ensure students abilities and needs are appropriately matched to the course expectations and career outcomes
  • Meet sales KPIs set by management

Successful candidates will have: 

  • Experience working in the phone-based sales or account management role, or a customer service role which required up-selling
  • Desirable to have previous experience selling in Higher Education
  • Superior customer service skills with strong written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail and professional in their work manner
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Have a 'can-do' attitude and have the desire to excel individually and professionally
