Job Description

  • Working for a leading Education provider in North Sydney
  • Immediate start for the right candidate
  • Potential for a temp to permanent opportunity, paying $40-45/ per hr + super
This person will be responsible for the written communication and writing support of a large team, supporting the team in a variety of services. The main responsibilities of the role include;
  • responsible for drafting and developing correspondence and communication 
  • Writing; letters, emails, staff announcements, invitations, nominations and submissions, contributions and publications and periodical reports
  • Support the preparation of communications and documentation including post event recognition, student acknowledgements, and correspondence with Church, government and external stakeholders
  • Yearly mail outs such as annual reports
  • Prepare, edit and proof read documents and and maintain web content 
  • Record and produce meeting minutes, as well as oversight and administration management 
  • Contribute to the development of procedures to maintain the standard of communication being released from the office
  • Providing efficient, timely and accurate responses to all requests  
The ideal candidate is confident in their writing abilities and will ensure that all work is accurate, articulate and timely.
  • Must have a tertiary qualification with proven experience with communications and administration 
  • High quality verbal and written communication skills with well developed skills within a written profession
  • High level experience within administration support within communications planning and delivery
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to liaise, consult and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience handling confidential matters
  • Performance orientated and driven
  • Ministerial, communications, speech writing letter writing experience is desirable
  • Must be available immediately
