Exciting opportunity for an experienced Communications Manager to join an ASX listed company in Sydney.
Temporary Contract initially to the 27th December 2019 (potential to be extended but no guarantee)
Salary range: $110K – $120K (FTE) + super
Immediate Start
Full time or part time contract (3 day minimum)
The job will initially be based in the CBD before moving to St Leonards.
Primary Purpose:
The first and foremost purpose of this job is for someone to project manage the end to end creation of the Annual Reports from writing and editing to managing the senior stakeholders within the company (including CEOs, Board Members, Legal Counsel, etc).
The Person:
The successful candidate will have extensive experience creating Annual Reports, ideally within an ASX listed company, this will be highly favourable but not an essential. The ideal candidate needs to confident working independently, a strong decision maker, resilient and assertive with a friendly, adaptable personality to manage the expectations of the different stakeholders.           
Primary Duties:
- Project manage the creation of the Annual Report in consultation with key internal senior stakeholders, an external designer, printer and mailing house
- Maintain the company intranet, including writing of new articles, sourcing content, updating documentation and the Employee Directory
- Create and distribute the Group's internal monthly newsletter
- Manage the Group's internal social media group
- Work with the CEO and other senior leaders to write regular internal business updates and other communications
- Other ad had communications and employee engagement activities and projects as they arise
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience project managing and editing Annual Reports (essential)
- Exceptional verbal communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Must be available for an immediate start and willing to commit to the temporary contract
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong time management skills with an ability to work to strict and tight deadlines
- Ability to manage sensitive information confidentially
