Job Description

Our client is a top tier insurance company who is the major insurer of many of Australia's largest companies.  They are looking for a Claims Administrator to support with the coordination and administration in one of their main streams of insurance.  They offer a progressive and dynamic culture that is built on innovation, creation, collaboration and thought leadership.  

This position sits in their examiner division, and reports directly to the Claims Operational Manager. 

This role is varied and responsibilities will include:
  • interacting with their customers, clients, trades and internal staff to build strong relationships and provide administrative support in relation to insurance claims
  • examining policies and entering details 
  • coordinating with internal staff and external contractors
  • data entry - updating file notes, using internal systems, and general administrative duties.
The successful candidate will:
  • have exposure to the world of insurance
  • have knowledge of policy 
  • be energetic and have a positive attitude
  • have exceptional attention to detail, great organisation skills and strong time management skills
  • have excellent written and verbal communication skills
