Family Spirit is a family support, foster care and adoption agency. Formed in 2018, Family Spirit unifies the expertise and compassion of Marist 180 and CatholicCare to deliver better outcomes for vulnerable children, young people and families. This is one of the few agencies in NSW dual accredited for foster-to-adoption services and registered to provide services to 2022.
Working with the Family Spirit Board, who is committed to be the best in the sector, the CEO will have the opportunity to shape and grow this new organisation. The board has made a strategic investment in practice mentor supervision and the provision of expert support to families and is successfully recruiting carers ahead of the sector average.
The successful candidate will
- Have an in-depth knowledge of PSP and be supportive of the OCG and DCJ initiatives to move children through out-of-home-care support into permanency solutions.
- Be an experienced leader of people navigating change
- Have a commitment to continuous improvement in all aspects of service delivery with a sophisticated utlisation of software, systems and processes.
- Be values aligned to Family Spirit’s operating principles and committed to child-centred decision making
Delivering services to families in the geographic footprint of the Archdiocese of Sydney and the Catholic Diocese of Parramatta, head office is located in Bankstown with satellite offices in Lewisham and Blacktown.
