Job Description

Curriculum Administrator
  • Based in the Inner West close to public transport links
  • 3-4 days per week, 40-week working year, 12 weeks annual leave
  • $63,000-65,000 + super, pro rata to part-time

The Curriculum Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support in all aspects under the area of curriculum management. This person would have reporting lines being Head of Learning and Teaching and the Director of Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the production of student reports bi-annually, including the collection and input of data from outcome descriptors, academic profiles, class and teach profiles
  • Assistance in the organisation and administration of assessment blocks including for IBIS and NAPLAN
  • Completing timely, articulate and professional uploads on completion of a variety of assessments (NESA, NAPLAN, IBIS, VET competencies, IB Diploma, etc.)
  • Collate and update the years 9 and 11 subject selection handbooks and the years 11 and 12 assessment guides
  • Prepare and implement data on a variety of systems
  • Prepare and disseminate agendas, documents and minutes of meetings
  • Follow up academic and teaching staff to collate information required for academic reporting

The ideal candidate would be someone who is confident in their data entry and administrative skills who is seeking a new opportunity within an educational environment.

Skills and abilities:
  • Must be able to complete conflicting tasks while prioritising and meeting deadlines
  • Must be intermediate to advanced in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Must be competent on both PC and MAC computers and confident using systems
  • Must have proven data entry and administrative abilities and skills
  • Have a high attention to detail, articulate and strong literacy skills including proficiency in proof reading
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage dynamic and action orientated deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise high degree of confidentiality
  • The ability to work independently and as a team
  • Desirable if you have a current First Aid Certificate
