About the Organisation:
NSW Farmers is Australia’s largest state farming organisation, representing farmers and rural communities across New South Wales. For more than 125 years, it has been a trusted voice for the sector, shaping policy and advocating for a strong and sustainable agricultural industry. The organisation works closely with members, government and industry to influence outcomes and support the long-term success of regional communities.

About the Opportunity:
As the Regional Manager, you will represent NSW Farmers across your designated region, acting as the face of the organisation and building strong relationships with members, branch leaders, industry stakeholders, government representatives and regional communities. You will play a key role in driving member engagement, membership growth, local advocacy initiatives and regional events, while strengthening regional networks and connecting local farming communities with NSW Farmers’ advocacy, policy and membership teams.

We are currently recruiting multiple Regional Manager roles across Regional NSW. We welcome applications from candidates located throughout Regional NSW, particularly within the Central West, Riverina, South East, Far West and North Coast regions.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, branch leaders, elected representatives, government agencies and industry stakeholders across the region.
  • Drive member engagement, retention and growth through proactive account management and promotion of NSW Farmers' services, benefits and membership opportunities.
  • Support local advocacy initiatives by identifying regional issues, gathering member insights and connecting farming communities with NSW Farmers' advocacy team.
  • Plan and deliver regional events and engagement activities that strengthen member participation and grow NSW Farmers' regional presence.
  • Promote advocacy outcomes, regional initiatives and member success stories through stakeholder engagement, media and social media.
  • Develop and deliver regional plans, manage reporting and maintain accurate stakeholder and membership records.
To be successful, you will have:
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, account management, membership, business development or a similar relationship-focused role.
  • An understanding of agriculture, regional communities, industry associations or member-based organisations.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and engage effectively with members, industry stakeholders and government representatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive engagement, growth or advocacy outcomes through proactive relationship building.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously in a field-based environment.
  • Experience coordinating events, projects or community engagement initiatives.
Why you'll love this role:
  • Join a purpose-driven organisation with a strong reputation and proud history.
  • Contribute to advocacy initiatives that create real outcomes for farmers and rural Australia.
  • Variety, flexibility and the opportunity to work across a diverse and dynamic region.
  • Competitive salary package, including salary packaging benefits and a fully serviced company car.
  • Enjoy additional gifted leave days on top of your annual leave entitlements.
If you are passionate about building relationships, supporting regional communities and helping shape the future of Australian agriculture, we'd love to hear from you.
