The Opportunity
FRRR is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the delivery of the Future Drought Fund’s Helping Regional Communities Prepare for Drought Initiative.
Working closely with the Program Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating grants and supporting community organisations delivering drought preparedness activities.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a structured but fast-moving environment and enjoys working with purpose-driven programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day program activities and timelines
- Support end-to-end grant processes, including assessment and payments
- Manage program data and contribute to reporting insights
- Act as a point of contact for funded organisations
- Support grantees with resources, communication, and access to program support
- Work closely with internal teams, including Grants Support
- Maintain accurate records across multiple systems
You are organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing competing priorities. You bring a practical approach and enjoy working collaboratively to deliver outcomes.
You will also have:
- Strong administrative and coordination experience
- Confidence managing high volumes of information with accuracy
- Clear, professional communication skills
- A collaborative and team-focused mindset
- Solid Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and adapt in a changing environment
- Experience in grants administration or community programs
- Exposure to not-for-profit, government, or purpose-driven organisations
- Experience with Monday.com or similar systems
- Understanding of regional, rural, or remote communities
