We’re partnering with a meaningful, impact-driven charity to find a dedicated Administration & Accounts Officer for a short-term, part-time (3 days per week) assignment.
This is a hybrid role combining day-to-day administration with hands-on accounts support. You’ll be contributing to an organisation that directly improves lives—while keeping the office running smoothly and supporting key financial functions.
This role suits someone available immediately who brings solid Xero and accounts experience, and who enjoys working in a purpose-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Office Support
- Manage the shared inbox and respond to enquiries
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide friendly, professional service
- Maintain general office upkeep
- Conduct post office runs
- Oversee ordering and stock management
- Coordinate travel bookings and arrangements
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable in Xero
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Assist with additional finance tasks as required
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1.5 years’ solid experience in the following areas:
- Xero financial system
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- Accounting qualifications (advantageous but not essential)
- Confident and accurate in Xero
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and adaptable
- Motivated by supporting a charity that makes a tangible difference
- Comfortable working onsite in Glebe 3 days per week (including Fridays)
