Healthy Workplace, Healthy Profit - Why Wellness Matters in Business

Byron Bay

Tuesday, 14 August 2018

08:00 AM - 09:30 AM

Workplace wellness (also known as Corporate Wellness) has been a focus of governments and employers internationally for a number of years. Approximately one-third of adult life is spent at work. Employment is a key social determinant of health and the World Health Organisation recognises the workplace as a key avenue for health promotion.

Join us at Elements Byron Bay for this complimentary breakfast event and hear from a collaborative, unique mix of local Wellness Specialists, paneling a discussion on holistic wellness and why mind, body and environmental wellness have significant impacts on business.

On The Panel:

  • Meet Michelle Winrow - The Authentic Wellness Coach who works to inspire and transform lives through her wholistic wellness coaching. Michelle will share why wellness matters, why ‘workplace’ wellness matters specifically and proven workplace wellness strategies.

  • Journey to greater health with Lynda Griparic - Naturopath, Nutritionist, Writer and Yoga teacher, as she reveals why gut health (aka the Human Plumbing) is important and why and how to avoid blockages; plus, techniques to clear the body, clear the mind.

  • Learn about Neuroscience of the Mind and the Emotional Intelligence Advantage with Therese Toohey – Director of TTCoaching who works to transform capacity to lead through positivity, resilience and compassion. Therese will also explain what Emotional Intelligence is and why it matters in your business.

Walk away confident in your understanding of workplace wellness and ideas that you can begin implementing in your business today. Register to attend today.
