​Trish brings over 10 years’ experience in the employment sector. Trish has worked in not for profit, Government and the private sector. Working in leadership roles in Job active and disability employment, the Strategic Partnership Team for Department of employment, education small business and training (DESBT) and as General Manager for Queensland’s largest Group Training Organisation (GTO).

Trish started her employment journey in business development for job active being promoted to Regional Business Development Manager in 2010 for Gold Coast and Northern Rivers NSW. With a change of contract Trish was successful in the position of Regional manager for job active and disability employment for a not-for-profit organisaton.

Wanting to broaden her experience she worked in the Strategic Partnership team for DESBT growing local businesses discovering and developing opportunities through training to employment. Networking to create opportunities for growth in employment with local government including City of Gold Coast. Trish also worked with community groups to collaborate with businesses to build successful Skilling Queenslanders for Work Programs and advising on writing tenders.

As General Manager for Queensland’s largest GTO she led using her emotional intelligence to influence and motivate her teams creating high performing outcomes. Trish led the operations, employment, recruitment, sales, and marketing teams. Trish is passionate about the skilling people through apprenticeships/traineeships and encouraging women to have a career in non-traditional trades. Leading by example to create an inclusive and collaborative culture is important to Trish.

As National Project Consultant for Beaumont People Trish is looking forward to engaging with her network and organisations including community groups to give people employment opportunities across Australia.
