Working with brilliant people
In the last few years, I have developed a strong belief in the concept that our success in life more often than not comes down to the people we choose to spend most of our time with. I am sure most of you have heard of this idea before. Want to be successful? Surround yourself with successful people. Want to be more positive? Surround yourself with positive people. Want to be healthy? Surround yourself with healthy people. Want to be better at what you do? Surround yourself with the highest performers. Fundamentally, we become more and more like the people we choose to hang out with.
Motivational speaker, Jim Rohn notably states that "we are the average of the five people we spend the most time with." As recorded in the 'Australian Bureau of Statistics', the average work week in Australia is 33 hours. As a result, the top 5 people we spend our time with will naturally include some of our colleagues and managers.
I joined Beaumont Consulting over a year ago, a recruitment agency known for putting people first as well as the way we contribute to the communities in which we are involved. In my role, I work as a Recruitment Consultant within the Contact Centre and Sales industry. My current working environment is made up of driven, positive, supportive and most of all fun colleagues and managers whom genuinely want people to succeed. I am surrounded by innovative and exceptional minds that make up the unique culture that we have here at Beaumont.
Since joining this team, I am on track to reach my personal and business goals and have built relationships with people who have positively influenced my perceptions and my way of thinking.
